Creating writing challenges and uploading these onto our blog. Students/parents and the wider community then share their ideas back in the comments or bring things into class.
Karakia being recorded and then uploaded to the class blog. This helps students to rewind their learning and also has proved to be a great connecting point for others outside our school community. - other local schools have commented on how they use the same karakia and that it is useful to them, as well as others connecting with the purpose behind us learning our Karakai. e.g. staying on a Marae.
